I would first off like to inform you that I do own a decent camera.
The thing is, I’ve been noticing this trend in recent years of entire Facebook albums built on shitty cell phone pictures of increasingly random, everyday content. The fact is, people ALWAYS have their cell phones on them, and not everyone carries around an actual camera; let alone owns one – and so no photo opportunity goes to waste these days.
By consequence, we’re sacrificing quality for a more candid and diverse representation of our daily lives – which is kind of exciting in a historical sense!
In honor of this photo-revolution, I’ve created a blog in which I can share those everyday people, places, and things that define my life. It’s a photo commentary on things that inspire me, captured in all their hazy, 2 megapixel glory 🙂
